IS THAT A DINOSAUR!!!???

We went to the Dinosaur Museum!!!

After a fun Birthday night for Brad, we decided to do some more celebrating with our Friends Kedrick and Lydia. We have been friends since we were all dating, then we got engaged around the same time, got married a week a part from each other, and now she is expecting a BABY! Kedrick's birthday is the day after Brad's so we had a fun time celebrating together!

 Sue the T-Rex! It is the most accurate dinosaur skeleton to ever be found!

The boys had fun testing the arm movement of a T-Rex. You definitely wouldn't be able to clap your hands if you were a T-Rex.

 This leg was huge!!

 A raptor.... (like my photography skills with the shadow?)

 A sign at the museum said that this is a the death pose of a dinosaur. When the die their muscles tense up in their neck and spine to arch that way.

 This is a skeleton of a Neck of a Long Neck Dinosaur. It couldn't fit in one display case barely even three!

 This display case was interesting to me because I have really studied this disease this past week in my environmental health class. Spina bifida is neural tube defect and can cause your spinal chord to not fully form. That is why you take Folic Acid!!! Poor dinosaur...



We had such a blast at the museum! Wish my dad could have been there to tell us some more cool facts!

Later during that evening we went to RED ROBIN! Our go to place for Birthday Dinners.

 We did this same thing last year!!! On the Left are the pictures from the celebrating of their 22nd birthdays, and on the right is the celebrating of their 23rd birthdays!

Not Much has changed!!! LOL

But it is so fun to celebrate with friends that we love! Thanks so much!!

Bradley Boy is 23!!!

A few days before Brad's Birthday, I asked him what he wanted for his Birthday dinner. I asked him if he wanted to go out or for me to cook. He asked for Mom's Lasagna!!  

So what did I do......???? I called my mom to see how to make her LASAGNA!!

And let me tell you... It turned out GREAT!!!

I also baked up some garlic bread!

 We had Nicole and Nathan and our favorite nieces over for a few min! They were so sweet to bring Brad a special B-day surprise!! We love spending time with them even if it is for a few minutes!!

 (My dad has these same sandals and on our cruise Brad had mentioned that he used to have a pair but they got stolen!)

 She also sent us a picture of us from the Cruise!

Later that night Brad and I went to the Avengers! Literally since we had seen the preview for the movie back in the fall, Brad had been counting the days til his birthday for this movie to come out!!! He also had been watching the trailers and sneak peek clips on YouTube for about 2 weeks now! It was so good and pretty funny! I love to see my Baby have a good time!



I am so grateful for all of our loved ones who made Brad's Birthday so special! Thanks to The Duffy's with sending him a REI Gift Card! Moments ago he just bought a Sleeping Bag! Thank you too for all of those who called him and thought of him on his special day!

HAPPY DAY!!!

It has been a while since I last posted. There has been lots that I need to update on but this one can't wait! My Best Friend Natalie got Married today! It was such a beautiful temple session and I couldn't be happier for the two! Spencer and Natalie will be our forever friends! I look forward to what the future holds for the both of us!

 For those who don't know Natalie she is the funnest and most spontaneous girl I know! Only Nat could have a very elegant wedding and still have a Jumping Castle! I love her so much!

Spencer and Natalie are off to Provo, UT to start their married life! Just another reason to visit Utah right! Congrats you guys! 

Sand Dunes!!!

In over the 2 years that I have been here in Rexburg, I have never been to the sand dunes. Brad and I got with another couple in our ward, Jared and Kim Stoddard, to have a fun little outing!

Overall we had a blast! We have found sand all over our house for that last couple of days but has been well worth it!

Debra G. Jolly Bray

Debbie pictured above has been like my 2nd mom for the past 12 years! She battled with cancer for a year and peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012. Looking back to this last year, she has truly been an inspiration in my life. Not once did I ever hear her complain about the pain that her cancer brought. Every time I saw her she had a smile on her face and was so happy to visit with me and everyone else around her.

Wednesday I traveled home to Spokane to attend her beautiful funeral. It was great to celebrate her life and reminisce on all the memories we shared. I am so glad I could see my Bray family and celebrate the new journey Debbie has ahead of her. I am so glad that she can be with her loved ones that have passed before her and also be with my Brother Jon! 

When you lose one you love, you gain an angel you know!! 

I am so grateful for the love and joy she brought in my life! She will never be forgotten and I know she is always in our hearts. I am truly blessed to have her be apart of my life and look forward to our reunion someday!   

Fun weekend!!

We got a suprise e-mail this week from Brad's Aunt and Uncle who live in Seattle. They have been skiing this week up at Targee (the Teton Mountains) and were in Idaho Falls Yesterday. They wanted to get all of the cousins and friends together that they knew in Rexburg and have a little reunion at Cafe Rio. We were super excited to see everyone again!!

Brad of coarse played lots with his niece Shae. Whenever Shae is sad, Brad can certainly cheer her up. They have a sweet little bond, that's for sure! It makes be excited to someday have kids!

 They have so much Fun!!

Lunch was awesome and it was so great to see them all again!

Later that night Brad and I met up with some friends in Idaho Falls and headed south of Pocotello to Lava Hot Springs.

In the Winter they only have a few pools open, but it was so much fun all being there as friends. Brad and I want to stay a weekend in Lava for our anniversary in September. There is so much to do in that little town! We are excited!!
